“I am a strong proponent for allowing the body to try to heal itself in times of illness. I feel that there are situations where medications are indicated, but these situations are specific. Parents need to be provided with tools and information about what they need to watch for in their child in case a situation worsens.
Throughout the years, I have found that my profession as a pediatrician requires many other abilities: good communication, dedication, empathy, patience, trustworthiness, authenticity. I have been blessed that my parents worked to instill these qualities in me from a young age. I appreciate what a true privilege, blessing, and great responsibility it is when parents place their trust in me to provide the best possible care for their child. Therefore, I strive every day to continue to meet these highest of expectations.
I know a little personally about children as well. My husband and I have five young children. We enjoy spending personal time with our extended families who are here in Wichita, changing diapers, and trying to stay ahead of the clutter that goes along with having young kids in the home!
I would be greatly honored to have the opportunity to get to know your family and care for your children at Redbud Pediatrics!”
