Insurance

We participate with most major insurance plans, including Kansas Medicaid Plans. Please bring your insurance card and any required copay to every visit. Insurance companies require your copay to be paid prior to your child being seen by the physician. If you do not have your copay your appointment may be rescheduled for a later time so that you can meet your financial obligation.

Please educate yourself about your insurance plan. Many families now have high deductible health insurance, which means that in addition to your monthly insurance premium, you may be responsible for payment of your child’s medical costs up to a certain amount every year.

Some insurance plans require your child to be assigned a certain primary care provider. It is your responsibility to ensure that your child is assigned to a physician at Redbud Pediatrics.

If you have recently had a new baby, be sure to contact the insurance company and add your baby to your insurance plan within 30 days after their birth. If you fail to add your baby to your plan within this time, you will be responsible for paying the cost of caring for your baby in the hospital and clinic.
